We Want to Serve You!
As Christians, we follow Jesus. The Bible says that Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve. Our Church is made up of Community Groups of 10-12 people who meet weekly in one-another’s homes. Those groups each perform at least one service project every semester. We want to love people the way Jesus loved us, and this is one way that we are able to do it! We are always on the lookout for ways to serve the community!
What is ServeITP?
ServeITP stands for Serve In The Panhandle. It’s a collection of mission and service projects done by the people of the Church at Martinsburg as ongoing outreach to our community. Our community groups help drive this effort as we partner with local non-profit organizations and civic organizations to care for our city and meet the needs in our community.
ServeITP initiatives and projects allow for the people of our church to establish relationships as an effort to share the gospel and care for those in need here in our community.
How can we serve you?
We can send a team (typically 10-12 adults and often their children) to serve you or your organization. Our teams are made of willing hands, and we love to serve people. Once you’ve filled out a request form for a team, we will assess our ability to meet your needs and inform you when we know if we can help. Past projects have included cleaning, painting, yard work, building handrails, collecting donations, and preparing and serving meals. We can’t always guarantee that your project will be a fit for one of our teams, but we are always eager to help.
