A Shepherd's care

September 5, 2021 Speaker: Ben Earle Series: Miscellaneous

Passage: Psalm 23

The Big Idea: The Lord keeps those who are his people.

1. ICE BREAKER: If you could have anything you wanted at this moment, what would it be? (Psalm 23:1)

2. Historically, or currently, what are you allowing to shepherd you? (money, power, intellect, sex, etc.)

3. Considering Psalm 145:16, does there exist anything you do not have that you also need?

4. Share about a time the Lord provided you with rest – not a good night’s sleep – but biblical rest. (see Matthew 11:28)

5. God keeps his people; he never lets them go. How can this promise provide you with hope as relates to life in general? In what ways does this encourage you regarding your salvation specifically? (see John 10:29)
