Busy Neighbors Are Bad Neighbors

August 8, 2021 Speaker: AJ Roberts Series: The Art of Neighboring

Passage: Luke 10:38–10:42

The Big Idea:

We must create space in our lives to build relationships with those who live near us.

This Week's Action Steps:

Spend 1 hour where your neighbors are.

Pray, "God, give me the courage and desire to make time to take the next step with those who live closest to me."

Questions:

1. ICE BREAKER: On a scale of 0-10, how busy would you say your life is?

2. In what ways have you found rushing through life to be harmful to your spiritual health?

3. When have you allowed a busy schedule to interfere with the time you were supposed to spend with someone? How did it affect the relationship?

4. In what ways could you make room for God to work in your schedule? What shifts could you make in your priorities?

5. What are some ways you spend your free time? How might you include your neighbors in things you are already doing?
