  1. ICE BREAKER: What is your soda of choice?

  2. When Jesus called these two clusters of brothers, one had to leave behind personal success and the other his family.  What type of course correction have you had to undergo in order to follow Jesus?

  3. Practically speaking, what does it mean that believers must take the back seat? What is the most challenging aspect of this for you?

  4. Do you think you can still retain your independence while following Jesus? Why or why not?

  5. These fishermen did not lose their fisherman status; rather, their experiences and skills were leveraged for the Kingdom of God. How can you or how have you used your experiences and skills to serve God and His people?

  6. The cost of following Jesus is steep, but the reward is invaluable. What reward comes to mind for you?

  7. Jesus has made all of His followers "fishers of men.” Who are you hoping to share the gospel with next? Share that name with the group and take time to pray for that person.
