In addition to our elders that provide spiritual authority and direction for our church, we also have several staff members that direct ministry teams and provide administrative support.
Brandy Parker | Office Administrator
As the Office Administrator for the Church at Martinsburg, my main responsibility is to serve. I serve and support our Pastors, ministry team leaders, as well as church members. I am responsible for the daily operations of the office, assisting with special projects, managing finances and keeping track of our calendar of events.
Prior to joining the church, I had 20+ years of experience in the corporate world with data entry, data analysis and office management.
Outside of the office my children and I, (as well as our dogs) like to enjoy family time together and vacationing at the beach. Crafting is a hobby of mine and I have a great collection of pens!
The Church at Martinsburg has been our second home since 2014. It’s been a joy to watch my kids serve alongside me in different areas of the church and to see how faithful God is in all of life.
Sydney Woodring | Administrative Designer
As the Administrative Designer for The Church at Martinsburg, my main responsibility is to worship God through my work and serving. I serve and support our Pastors, ministry team leaders, and church members. I am responsible for the daily operations of the office, assisting with special projects, managing finances and keeping track of our calendar of events. I also oversee all things graphic design whether it is related to sermon series, special events, posters, etc.
I am currently a senior at Shepherd University pursuing a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. I love using my administrative abilities, design skills, and eye for detail to serve the Lord.
I have been attending The Church at Martinsburg since 2015. It has been a joy to grow in my faith and maturity as a believer as I attended this church for the last 7 years. I am grateful to now be in a role where I can give back to the body of believers that played an influential role in my walk with Christ.
Garrett Sheppard | Worship Leader
As the worship leader, I oversee the worship, sound, and media teams. Our goal is to lead the congregation in theologically rich and biblical songs, and facilitate the live stream. Music has always been one of my greatest passions.
I played in a bluegrass band for more than a decade, I graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, and I have over 6 years experience leading worship.
When I’m not at 50 Monroe, you’ll probably find me playing bluegrass with some buddies or spending time with my wife Nicole and our rambunctious dog, Jagger.
Charles Rhoe | Custodian
As the custodian of the Church at Martinsburg, my main responsibility is to make sure the church is clean and ready for folks to worship alongside one another. It is a privilege and a blessing to take care of our building. In addition to dedicating my time to care for the building's needs, I am employed full-time as a custodian at Spring Mills High School, where the kids know me as Charles or the custodian with the beard. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife and daughters, woodworking and painting the occasional mural in the high school's fieldhouse.
