The Gospel Project

66 books. Dozens of authors. A holy canon thousands of years in the making. Every word, every verse, bears His testimony. Of the Holy Messiah. Jesus Christ. Eternal King.

The Gospel Project® is a chronological, Christ-centered Bible study for Kids, Students, and Adults that examines how all Scripture gives testimony to Jesus Christ. Over the course of three years, all ages of the Church at Martinsburg will journey from Genesis to Revelation and discover how God’s plan of redemption unfolds throughout Scripture and still today, compelling us to join the mission of God.

The gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel and we want to see heart transformation more than anything. The Church at Martinsburg children’s ministry team wants to partner with parents to teach and reinforce gospel truths throughout the week - not just on Sunday mornings. This study will give both parents and the church the tools they need to teach the gospel. Watch this amazing video to learn more about The Gospel Project for Kids.

THE GOSPEL Project for Students - (Middle and High School)

The Gospel Project for Students will take teenagers on a journey through the storyline of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. Along the way, students will discover the big picture of what God has been doing throughout redemptive history, and what it means for them. Students will also learn 99 essential doctrines of our faith and why these doctrines are important to their daily lives. The teenage years are hard but with a foundation on the Bible and a heart transformed by the gospel, students can know what they believe and how that changes how they act. Everything from meals, to Bible reading and application, to mission projects, and caring for each other takes place in our community groups! If you are not a part of a community group yet and desire to be in a group, we have a special group for you. On Sunday mornings at 9:15 and 11:00 The Gospel Project for Adults meets at 50 Monroe Street. The Gospel Project for Adults takes men and women on a chronological, Christ-centered journey through the storyline of Scripture. Each week, participants will encounter God’s plan of redemption in Scripture through the study of Bible narrative, the essential doctrines of the faith, and the call to join in God’s mission locally and around the world. You don’t have to worry about childcare either since your children will be studying the same text you are in our children’s ministry department.
